Returns Policy

In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive you are entitled to cancel your order at anytime within 7 days of receiving your goods.  The cancellation period ends on expiry of the period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us in writing via email to sales@vcsaunders.co.uk to obtain a returns authorisation reference number. Then arrange return of the product to us in perfect resalable condition within 7 days of receipt of goods.

We hope that you will be happy with our products and guarantee to operate a ‘no quibble’ refund policy but we would always like to be given a chance to sort out any problems first.  Our customer services will always respond promptly to emails and telephone calls.

If you return items for reasons other than defects in the goods, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the items to us.  We strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery service (one that requires a signature upon receipt).  We cannot accept liability for goods lost in transit.  For large bulky items we may be able to arrange collection from you and return to ourselves.  The cost of this will be advised and agreed with you before we arrange collection and deducted from your refund. Refunds will be processed when we receive the goods back at our warehouse. If we are sending in a courier to collect from you, please make sure the parcel is securely packed and any address labels to yourselves are removed or covered over. In the unlikely event of goods being found to be faulty all charges will be refunded in full.


If you wish to exchange goods we can either raise a new invoice and take payment again to speed up the process of supplying replacement goods and then refund the returns when received or wait until the returns are received and then send replacement goods and take or refund any difference in cost.

The Returns Process

  1. Advise us by email of your intention to return goods within 7 days of receipt by email to sales@vcsaunders.co.uk (24 Hours) or by telephone to 020 8947 5262 during office hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Please supply your order details and you will be given a Returns Authorisation Number.
  2. Arrange for the return of goods with a copy of your original receipt and quoting your Returns Authorisation Number.
  3. Upon receipt of the returns at our warehouse the goods will be inspected and if all is well your refund less the inital dispatch cost will be processed promptly or other instructions carried out.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy your receipt and refunds can only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original purchase or via Paypal if applicable. 

Please note that we cannot accept returned goods that we reasonably believe have been used.  In such circumstances, we will notify you that no refund will be available and we will hold the goods available for your collection for a period of 28 days from our notification.

Please note that we cannot accept any returned goods (used or damaged) after 28 days from the date of purchase.

We can only accept return of products purchased directly from this website.  If you have purchased products via another website the goods must be returned to them.


Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
